Prof. I. Hershkovitz is the chief anthropologist and co-director of the Misliya Cave project. During the last 30 years, he was actively involved in the excavation and study of many historic and prehistoric skeletal populations of Israel. His major scientific activities are in the field of biohistory, osteobiography, evolutionary medicine and human evolution.
